Background
Founded as the first Political Institute in the region, Democratic Institute MOSAIC was established to address the need for promoting democratic values and building a new political culture in the Presevo Valley. This NGO will be engaged in creating a new era of CSOs, ensuring local and central institutions are transparent and accountable. We will work as a Think Tank, providing analyses, recommendations, and insights/findings, promoting the Presevo Valley's cultural heritage and tourism regionally and internationally. We also aim to build a new nonformal education system with professional training for the youth.

The name
The name MOSAIC represents our belief in the strength of diversity and unity. Just as a mosaic is composed of various pieces coming together to form a beautiful whole, our institute brings together stakeholders from different backgrounds to work towards common goals. Each individual, like a unique tile in a mosaic, contributes their own perspectives, talents, and experiences to create positive change in the Presevo Valley.
