MOSAIC Meets with the Mayor of Bujanovac
The Democratic Institute MOSAIC recently held a productive meeting with the Mayor of Bujanovac, Mr. Arbër Pajaziti. The meeting focused on fostering stronger collaboration between local institutions and civil society to promote sustainable development in the Preševo Valley.
During the discussion, MOSAIC presented two of its latest publications:
The ValleyRights Handbook, designed to inform and empower citizens about their rights.
The Demographic Analysis of the Preševo Valley (Census 2022), offering a detailed overview of demographic trends and challenges in the region.
The conversation highlighted the importance of building lasting partnerships, which support youth engagement, cultural and educational initiatives, and the protection of minority rights. Both parties agreed that sustained cooperation is key to creating a stronger, more inclusive, and empowered community.
As part of its ongoing mission, MOSAIC will continue organizing meetings with institutional representatives, civil society organizations, and other key stakeholders. The aim is to foster a new political culture, one that is collaborative, inclusive, and forward-looking, ultimately creating a strong and sustainable mosaic for the youth and the Albanian community in the Valley.
