The Democratic Institute MOZAIK participated in a special cultural event where our latest publication, “Handbook on the Rights of Albanians in the Presevo Valley”, prepared by the Institute’s Director Fatlind Azizi, was officially promoted.
The event was organized by the Publishing House “Zëri i Luginës” in Presheva, as part of the cultural program “November in the Valley”, supported by the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Albania, under the monitoring of the Embassy of the Republic of Albania in Belgrade, and with the support of the Albanian National Council.
At the same event, the book “Meeting with the Soul” by the author Hamim Çilafi from Skopje was also presented.
The Handbook on Minority Rights – A Practical Guide for Equality and Inclusion is an essential resource created by the Democratic Institute MOZAIK to inform, guide, and empower both public institution employees and Albanian citizens in Serbia.
The handbook provides a clear and practical overview of the legal framework protecting minority rights, helping readers understand and implement the Seven-Point Plan for representation and inclusion of minorities in public life.
Through this publication, MOZAIK aims to:
provide detailed legal guidance on the protection and enforcement of minority rights;
support public institutions with practical steps for applying equality and inclusion policies;
empower minority communities to navigate legal processes, advocate for their rights, and engage effectively with institutions;
ensure broad accessibility, both in print and online versions.
The handbook is distributed free of charge to public institutions, schools, and civil society organizations across the Presevo Valley, helping raise awareness and promote the practical implementation of minority rights.
It is also available online at www.valleyrights.com and on the MOZAIK official website www.institutimozaik.org/publications.
