MOSAIC had the pleasure of participating in a study visit to Vienna, Austria, supported by Gradjanske Inicijative and the British Embassy Belgrade. During the visit, the organization’s director, Mr. Fatlind Azizi, shared firsthand the experiences and challenges faced by the Albanian community in Serbia.
Meetings were held with a range of international and European institutions, including:
Office for Southeast Europe at the OSCE
European Union Delegation for International Organizations in Vienna
European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA)
Representatives from the Austrian Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs (BMEIA)
Key issues discussed included non-recognition of Republic of Kosovo diplomas, passivization of addresses, the lack of support for education in the Presevo Valley, and the importance of strengthening civil society in the region.
These meetings went beyond formal exchanges; they represented strategic efforts to ensure that the voice of the Preševo Valley is heard in decision-making forums and international platforms.
